Games will be played Tuesday & Wednesday evenings.
• Price per team $ 1,200 includes referee fees
• Minimum roster 12 players, Maximum 16 players
• 8 v 8 (7 Plus Goalkeeper)
• Standings will be based on point system: 3 points for Win, 1
point for a Tie, and 0 points for a loss
• 8 week season, plus one week for playoffs (Top 6 teams qualify)
** Start times for games: 8:00pm, 9:00pm & 10:00PM**
RULES
****ANY PLAYER WHO RECIEVES A RED CARD IS SUSPENDED FOR THE FOLLOWING GAME****
UNIFORMS - Each team must wear different color jerseys. In the case of color conflicts, the home team must make the jersey change.
DURATION OF PLAY - There will be two (2) twenty five (25) minute halves with a two (2) minute half time. The clock will run continuously during play. The clock will be stopped, at the discretion of the referee, for an unusually serious injury or similarly extreme circumstance. Referees are instructed to begin the clock on the hour. The clock will begin on the hour in order to insure that all games begin and end on time.
No half can end on a penalty shot or free kick
EQUIPMENT - All soccer shoes are permitted except for soft grounds. No replaceable or metal studs.
CEILING - If the ball hits the ceiling (netting), play will continue on.
FREE KICKS - The ball must be stationary before taking a free kick. Defenders must move 5 yards back when a free kick is awarded. Intentional encroachment by defenders at the taking of free kicks may result in a yellow card.
GOAL KICKS - Are taken from anywhere in the goal area, and may not cross the mid field line without the touching of a player. If the ball crosses the midfield line without the touching of a player, possession of the ball goes to the other team at the midfield line. Goalie can slide to make a save or protect himself.
PENALTY KICKS - All penalties by a defending player within the penalty area shall result in a penalty kick.
SLIDE TACKLING - There is absolutely no slide tackling at all.
SUBSTITUTIONS - May be made "on the fly" at any time, without approval of the referee or possession of the ball. Players have to be with in ten(10) feet of the touch line before the substitute may enter the field of play. Goalie substitutions can only occur at a stoppage with the permission of the referee.
PLAYOFFS- In case of tie there will be no extra time, the game will go immediately into a three round shootout.
CHAMPIONSHIP GAME- In case of a tie there will be a 10 minute overtime, if the game is still tied after the overtime there will a three round shootout to determine a winner.
